11,000 Bottle release of the first Classic Cuvée from Albury. This is an Organic blend of 52% Pinot Noir, 37% Pinot Meunier and 11% Chardonnay. The 2013 sparkling wines were again vinified by Litmus Wines.

The nose on this is really rich and indulgent; baked apples, citrus zest with distinct red berry character and a lovely sweet toasted brioche streak.

This is a real step up in intensity compared to the previous Premier Cuvée release. Very persistent bubbles with a deliciously textured mouse, this wine has a great freshness with youthful citrus and crisp acidity. There are underlying red fruit flavours; a tang of raspberry, hints of cherry backed by baked pastry complexity. Really impressive length in the elegant aftertaste.

This is really something special, easily my favoruite wine from Albury to date.

Winemakers Description:

This Classic Cuvée has all the hallmarks of a fine sparkling wine. The subtle fruit on the nose, predominantly red berries from the Pinot and a little light citrus from the Chardonnay, is backed up by a really long, mouth-filling palate that lingers and satisfies. Fresh and lively, ripe acidity is complimented by subtle sweetness. A wine for drinking on its own or with friends!
