Maud Heath – Bacchus 2014

Bacchus Book Cover Bacchus
Maud Heath

Nose represents a classic Bacchus with grapefruit, grass, lime and elderflower, but with prominent minerality.

Super dry palate, the acidity is mild but there’s a real grapefruit and bitter citrus streak. It’s perhaps a little on too much the bitter side, but there is a really nice chalky mineral finish.

Great length, but a little unbalanced.

Winemakers Description:

A lovely example of a Bacchus with fresh lime and gooseberry notes and a flavour-packed lemony finish.
