WINE REVIEW
This new vintage of the much talked about Silent Pool Rosé is a blend of 57% Pinot Noir and 43% Pinot Meunier. Grown just outside Guildford in Surrey, the wine is produced by Ulrich Hoffman of Vivid Wines.
The wine has a beautiful salmon colour with pink and orange hues.
On the nose there are lively aromas of cherry and white peach, with fresh citrus and clean mineral notes.
The palate is brilliantly clean, with youthful tangy red berry flavours of cranberry and raspberry. A really refreshing citrus backbone makes this the perfect summer rose.
In fact it’s that fresh citrus quality that really makes this wine hugely enjoyable, with a zingy pink grapefruit flavour that lingers and tingles on the finish.
