WINE REVIEW

A blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, fermented mostly in tank, with a small portion (4%) fermented in French oak.

Hambledon’s inaugural rosé is truly a wonderful sight; warm and inviting with pink and orange hues. The bubbles are fine and very persistent.

Aromas of fresh English strawberries leap out of the glass, with yeasty top notes and floral hints.

The palate is greeted by rich acidity and tangy citrus flavours, leading to orchard fruit before a bold red fruit manifestation; raspberry, cranberry and perhaps even hints of cherry and grapefruit. This rosé has a really diverse flavour profile, striking with a long finish where those red fruit flavours are met with hints of pastry and nut.

The structure absolutely hits the mark – crisp up front with a wonderful creamy texture and mousse.
