WINE REVIEW

An enigmatic Chardonnay made from grapes harvested in Languedoc, before being transported for sorting and pressing in London. The pressed juice settles for one night only, and is then transferred straight to old oak barrels still cloudy.

A wonderful fresh nose with red apple, peach and nectarine aromas. Warming vanilla and spiced notes suggest a firm but thoughtful handling of oak.

Stunning palate, even more striking than the excellent 2014 vintage. The Charlotte Street has this wonderfully rich profile with vibrant apple & juicy peach flavours, then a slight pineapple zing in the background.

Great creamy weight with a discretely grippy texture and a dancing zesty cut through, all finished off with slight nutty savoury and smoked mineral notes.

Exceptional texture & balance, this is a wine you can lose yourself in a glass of.
