WINE REVIEW

Made from one of the lesser known grapes in grown in England; Madeleine Angevine.

Aromatic nose of citrus, white flowers, lemongrass with interesting wet stone notes that I wasn’t expecting.

Very refreshing fruity palate, starting with crisp dry citrus flavours with a big wash of pear and elderflower. Whilst fruity and aromatic, this white wine remains bone dry. The elderflower tastes linger with the dry, mineral qualities.

Overall I found this wine to be very drinkable, but it’s quite light and subtle. I think the wineries suggested food pairing of fish or crab would help to bring out the best in this wine.
