WINE REVIEW
The maiden vintage of Hush Heath’s Blanc de Blanc, with just 100 cases made from a small parcel of grapes from a single vineyard.
This BdB has quite an aromatic nose with apple, lemon and subtle mineral notes.
On the palate, quite sharp lemon flavours with lime zest and crisp apple acidity upfront, before a more mellow smooth textured mid taste occurs. I love how this wine balances the lively acidity with the smoother almost creamy texture.
The finish has a mineral twist, before where the citrus returns to take quite a hold on the lengthy aftertaste.
In fact the length is perhaps this wines star quality, it really leaves a lasting impression!
