WINE REVIEW
Having recently been impressed with the Gusbourne Guinevere Chardonnay, I couldn’t wait to open this.
Like their Chard, this demonstrates great character on the nose; one of sweet strawberry, coffee and pepper. It has mineral notes and an unusual pencil-shaving aroma.
Lovely palate, super smooth tasting red berry cocktail, backed with mid taste of mocha and sweet vanilla. Surprising length with fine tannin.
Without doubt the best English red wine I have drank to date. Superb!
