WINE REVIEW
This is the fresher, unoaked counterpart to the deeply textured Burn Valley Solaris Reserve. Together, both wines really demonstrate the diverse potential of this sometimes overlooked grape.
On the nose this Solaris 2023 is brightly perfumed with aromas of citrus zest, crisp pear and floral aromas, with suggestions of green tropical fruit.
The palate is crisp, dry and fresh, beginning with the zing of lemon and grapefruit before ripe pear and hints of peachy richness. It’s crisp and easy-drinking with tempered acidity that doesn’t dominate. This is another strong offering from Norfolk’s Burn Valley.
