WINE REVIEW
Produced at the Wiston Estate winery, this is an incredibly classy and classic sparkling rosé. It’s a blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay that has spent over five years patiently ageing on the lees.
With lovely salmon flesh hues, this wine opens with a rich nose of wild strawberry, cherry and cranberry with suggestions of shortbread and biscuit.
The palate is full of ripe English summer berries and also brilliant and crisp. This evolves to deeper textures of strawberry shortbread and dried cranberry, as well as a touch of tangerine zest.
The mousse is soft and fine, cementing an elegant balance for this bold and decisive rosé.
