The 12 Wines of Christmas: Day 1

This year has seen Polgoon team up with the Newlyn School of Art to produce a limited edition of their fantastically zingy Bacchus with special artwork by the tutors. Each bottle is numbered from a limited release of 1,500.

While pale in colour, the wine has a bright nose with wild elderflower, honeysuckle, sweet peach and zesty notes.

The wine has a tremendous freshness with a citrus bite. Strong grapefruit and lime zest zing forms a fragrant and punchy mid-taste.

The fresh citrus character and slight mineral salinity appropriately conjure up the same coastal style imagery that the beautiful label captures.
