WINE REVIEW
Another great bottle of English Sparkling wine from Chapel Down. A blend of the big 3 Champagne grape varieties with the addition of Pinot Blanc, the wine spends approximately 15 months on the lees.
The Sparkling English Rose is a very easy drinking drop. Light fruity nose of lemon, strawberry, raspberry.
Really clean on the palate, lots of fresh red berry flavours, sherbert lemon and slight smooth creaminess.
This is a lighter easy drinking Rose, very approachable and available at a good price point. For something a little bolder with more structure try the Vintage Reserve Rosé Brut NV, which is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
